Let me guess.
You want to approach women, but you keep telling yourself:
“I’ll start when I feel more confident.”
“I just need to work on myself a bit first.”
“Once I fix my posture, voice, style, [insert thing here]… I’ll go for it.”
It sounds smart.
It sounds responsible.
It even sounds self-aware.
But here’s the problem:
Confidence doesn’t show up before action. It shows up because of action.
And the longer you wait for it to magically appear, the longer you’ll stay stuck.
“I need to be more confident first” is one of fear’s most clever disguises.
It lets you avoid risk while still feeling like you’re making progress.
But what you’re really saying is:
None of that makes you weak.
It makes you human.
But if you want change? You need to break the cycle.
Here’s what most guys don’t realize:
Confidence isn’t a prerequisite. It’s a byproduct.
Think about it:
Approaching is the same.
You show up. You stumble a bit. You learn.
You start to feel less afraid.
Then, you become confident—because you’ve proved to yourself that you can handle it.
Here’s how I began approaching while still nervous as hell—and how you can too:
Stop asking:
“Do I feel confident enough?”
Start asking:
“Can I take one small action—even if I don’t feel confident yet?”
That shift alone gets you moving.
See someone → Count “1, 2, 3” → Go.
This bypasses your internal debate and trains your brain to act without needing “readiness.”
Try an opener like:
“Hey, I wasn’t sure what to say, but I figured I’d just come say hi.”
You don’t need to pretend you’re fearless.
Women respond more to honesty than fake bravado anyway.
You don’t need a phone number to succeed.
You win every time you:
This is how confidence compounds.
You’re not behind. You’re not broken. You’re just waiting for a feeling that only shows up after you do the thing.
The real formula is simple:
Courage → Action → Repetition → Confidence
So if you’re nervous? Good. That means it matters.
