Threesomes are supposed to be fun, right?
Then why do you feel nervous, overthink everything, or suddenly wonder,
“What if she enjoys the other person more?”
Insecurity is the uninvited fourth guest at a lot of threesomes.
But it doesn’t have to wreck the experience.
Here’s how to work through it, keep your confidence, and actually enjoy yourself—without spiraling into jealous thoughts or self-doubt.
Let’s normalize it right now:
It’s okay to feel nervous or unsure.
Confidence doesn’t mean never feeling insecure—it means facing it directly.
Insecurity usually comes from hidden fears.
Ask:
Understanding your own mind = less power for insecurity.
Say to your partner:
“I’m excited, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t feeling a little nervous too.”
Now she knows what you’re working through—and she can help reassure you.
Vulnerability creates closeness. Silence creates assumptions.
Before the threesome:
During the experience:
Security comes from connection—not performance.
Agree on:
This puts power in your hands, even if emotions bubble up.
Having a plan lowers anxiety.
When insecurity hits, the instinct is to perform or “win” the moment.
That just makes it worse.
Instead:
Generosity is confidence in motion.
Insecurity during threesomes is totally normal.
But it doesn’t have to dominate the experience.
Talk it out. Get grounded. Reconnect.
And remember: your worth isn’t measured by who got more moans or minutes—it’s measured by how you showed up, emotionally and sexually.
You’ve got this. One moment at a time.
